Brake servo and master cylinder...

Again under the bonnet of the donor to remove a newer brake servo unit and master cylinder. I receive a package of bills and receipts the other day from the previous owner and noted that the servo and master cylinder had been replaced - mine was also fairly rusty on the face.

This one has some minor surface rust spots which I will treat and paint - other than that its ready to go.

Brake and clutch master/slave cylinders removed...

So I started by undoing the brake pipes into the balance valve and removing the retaining bolt. Removed the two bolts holding the master cylinder in place, I needed a screw driver to part it from the servo. The pressure failure switch broke (another item for the shopping list!) when trying to disconnect it.

The clutch master and slave cylinders unbolted without any problems.

All three cylinders will need to be stripped and overhauled before refitting.
